Do I Have BPH?

You Are Not Alone

There are 12 million men in the U.S. already diagnosed with BPH and 790,000  are newly diagnosed each year.

The International Prostate Symptom Score (IPSS) was created to help determine the proper treatment, if any, a patient may need to help manage his BPH symptoms. The survey asks seven urinary symptom questions and one quality of life question to help determine the severity of your BPH.

Dr. Christopher Hollowell from Z Urology in South Florida provides an overview of BPH at a patient educational seminar.

To calculate the severity of your BPH symptoms click on the button. Although the IPSS survey is used by physicians to assess symptoms, it is not intended to provide medical advice or a diagnosis, only to provide you with a resource to start the discussion with your urologist during your next visit.

After you have completed the survey, you will be able to email yourself a copy of your results. This will allow you to print the results and bring them in to your urologist during your next appointment to discuss your score.
