Rezūm-ing an Active Lifestyle with Rezūm Water Vapor Therapy
Born and raised in Colorado, Gordon enjoys an active lifestyle. He grew up skiing in the winter months and is fond of golfing. Gordon is on the board of the Senior Olympics of Arizona, where he now lives and skis competitively.
A few years ago, I started noticing changes.
I’d wake up four to six times each night to visit the bathroom, so I wasn’t sleeping well. I’d have to take multiple bathroom breaks in a one-hour sales meeting. And I’d only wear black pants for fear of leaking.
I finally decided to talk to my doctor. My doctor diagnosed me with benign prostatic hyperplasia (BPH), or an enlarged prostate. We discussed various enlarged prostate treatment options and started with prescription medications. I took the medications for three months before realizing that they weren’t working for me. I had no change in my enlarged prostate symptoms.
I went back to my doctor and we considered other BPH treatments, including a new steam treatment for enlarged prostate called Rezūm Water Vapor Therapy. Rezūm Therapy uses the natural energy stored in water vapor or steam to reduce the size of the prostate. My doctor advised that I was a good candidate for this treatment so we arranged the procedure.
I was seeing improvements within two weeks.
From there, it just kept getting better. I started sleeping through the night for the first time in years. I sat through a meeting without having to rush to the bathroom. I wore gray and khaki pants. I played golf without any interruptions, and I started skiing again.
I’m very happy with the results and back to enjoying my regular, active lifestyle. I wish I’d had done this treatment years ago.
